By Daniyah Raza Although it feels like the world has been on standstill for the last three months, justice can still be fought for, even at home. Everyone around the world is aware of George Floyd’s unjust death which has sparked protests not only in nearly every state in America, but in several countries too. These protests are not only to demand justice for his death, but to put an end to police brutality, systemic and institutionalised racism and bring awareness to racism and encourage people to be actively anti-racist. We may feel that being on a small island thousands of miles away from America, that there is not much we can do. Luckily, with immediate access to the internet and social media, we can all play our part in the Black Lives Matter movement.
